Desert Buff Flagstone 2" - 2000 Pound Pallet
Desert Buff is quarried in central New Mexico and is known as the strongest sandstone in the US. Even at a minimal thickness of approximately 2" these stones can be installed safely onto a bed of crushed stone, no mortar necessary. Of course if you are looking for the perfect material for your formal patio and using mortar, Desert Buff adheres very well and has a slight no slip texture. One ton of Desert Buff will cover around 20% more square footage than other material due to its excessive strength. Typical coverage is 120 square foot per ton at 1" joint spacing. We love this stone and have used it extensively at our own house and on many jobsites!
